East Park Wolves Cycle speedway club was set up in 2006 at the disused track in the East Park .The existing track was built by the local council however it was not used a soon fell into disrepair.
In 2006 the track was brought back in to use and has over the years become one of the best cycle tracks / clubs in the Midlands if not the country.
It now has full LED floodlights, electrical supply , mains water supply , and electric starting gates ,
The club is supported by local councillors also the local police force who attend most meetings .
The club can also boast 3 qualified cycle coach's. 2 welfare officers , 3 cycle speedway referees . 3 first aid officers .
The club has achieved go-ride and Club Mark status.
