Welcome to the midland cycle speedway league
Midland Cycle Speedway 2025 Season
The Midland League Division 1 competition will continue in 2025 between four of the Midlands clubs. Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Wednesfield. The league will comprise of 12 matches, held across 6 events, with 2 races held per event, in a 6 rider plus 2 reserves format.
After their success in 2024 the Midland Club Days will continue in 2025. Four of the Midland clubs will host one or two days across the season where all Midland Clubs will be invited to compete. The format of each day will be decided by the host club, with the aim to encourage their own riders to take part across all age groups.
New for 2025 we are introducing 'Midland Battle' races. Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Wednesfield will compete in the same formula. 6 person teams but can be completed with 4.
We are also introducing a Midland Flexi League. This is a turn up and ride formula. Formulas have been designed so that on the day grading will result in people riding against same graded riders.
BYJL
The British Youth and Junior League will continue, this year with five regional rounds and four national rounds.
