Welcome to the midland cycle speedway league
Midland Cycle Speedway 2026 Season
The Midland League Division 1 competition will continue in 2026 between four of the Midlands clubs. Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Wednesfield. The league will comprise of 12 matches, held across 6 events, with 2 races held per event, in a 6 rider plus 2 reserves format.
Following the success of the 'Midland Battle' races in 2025 they will continue in 2026. Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Wednesfield will compete in the same formula. 6 person teams but can be completed with 4.
The Midland Flexi League will also continue in 2026. This is a turn up and ride formula. Formulas have been designed so that on the day grading will result in people riding against same graded riders.
After their success in 2024 & 2025 seasons, the Midland Club Days will continue in 2026. The format of each day will be decided by the host club, with the aim to encourage their own riders to take part across all age groups.
BYJL
The British Youth and Junior League will continue, this year with three regional rounds and four national rounds.
